Chungbuk Cheongju FC joins hands with credit unions and local organizations.
Chungbuk Cheongju held a silver business member ceremony with a credit union prior to its home match against FC Anyang in the 29th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2 2023 at Cheongju Stadium on March 30. The ceremony was attended by Noh Won-ho, director of the Korea Credit Union Administration, Cho Byung-sik, chairman of Heungdeok Credit Union, and Lee Kwang-soo, chairman of the board of directors of Ueum Credit Union.
Korea Credit Union was founded in 1960 as the first purely private cooperative in Korea and has since established itself as the country’s leading financial cooperative. Today, Korea Credit Union is a member of the World Council of Credit Unions, which represents credit unions from 120 countries around the world, and the chairman of the Asian Credit Union Association, leading the global financial cooperatives.

A MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) signing ceremony was also held between the club and the Cheongju City Sajik 1-dong Residents’ Association and the Cheongju City Residents’ Council. The Residents’ Association of Sajik 1-dong, Cheongju City, provides programs such as culture and welfare based on the diverse opinions of residents from all walks of life. The Cheongju City Council of Resident Autonomy Chairpersons is an organization that helps revitalize each resident autonomy council and promotes various projects for the development of resident autonomy. 바카라
At the MOU signing ceremony, Na Byeong-il, chairman of the Cheongju Sajik 1-dong Residents’ Association, said, “We are pleased to have the only professional soccer team in the Cheongju area. We look forward to enriching the cultural life of the residents of Sajik 1-dong in Cheongju.” Cho Byung-sik, chairman of the Cheongju City Residents’ Autonomy Chairman’s Council, said, “We are honored to partner with Chungbuk Cheongju FC. We hope that Chungbuk Cheongju FC matches will become a favorite pastime for many Cheongju citizens.”
After the signing ceremony, Kim Hyun-joo, CEO of the club, said, “We are pleased to join hands with the credit union, which is growing as a role model for financial cooperatives and a strong pillar of grassroots finance. We are also very pleased to have established a relationship with the Sajik 1-dong Residents’ Association and the Cheongju City Residents’ Council, which strive for the leisure life of local residents. Meanwhile, Chungbuk Cheongju, who extended their unbeaten streak to 12 games with the win, will play away games against Gimcheon Commerce and Ansan Greeners on the 2nd and 16th of next month, respectively, before hosting Seoul Eland FC on the 19th. Tickets for the home games will be available via TicketLink from 11 a.m. one week before the game, and will also be available at the venue on the day of the game.
