Paulo Bento, former coach of the Korean national soccer team, said that coaching Korea at the Qatar World Cup was “one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.”

He recorded 35 wins, 13 draws and 9 losses in 57 matches he led over four years. Under coach Bento, Korea succeeded in advancing to the round of 16 at the away World Cup for the second time since the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. 

Even when he left the country on the 13th, Bento brought tears to his eyes as he greeted the coaches and fans.
